SDL 6 Land Surveying
SDL was developed to meet today’s demand for user-friendly software adapted to the present technology.
Today, data capture in the field is carried out on total stations and GPS equipment. Measured points are often attributed a code indicating point type and topological relations. SDL interprets this code when transferring data to DSFL, CAD, or GIS formats, allowing a nearly finished map to be produced directly in the field.
SDL is used by a broad range of customers for many different types of jobs, both nationally and abroad. The software can handle complex geodetic calculations as well as basic data operations.
SDL is built around two pillars: a program module and a CAD program (SGE - SDL Graphical Editor). It is supported on all common Windows platforms (7, 8, 10, 11) and provides intuitive interfaces, making it easy to get started.
